...And I'm being honest

After a month, I'm finally settled in NC. As for the above songs... it's been that kind of week. I'll slowly work my way to writing stuff again, but I enjoy eating biscuits and, uh, meeting people. Also, why does JD insist on saying "Get Out!"? What does that have to do with anything?

'Wanna Be Your Lady' is a pretty underappreciated little gem. It's hard to describe the difference between promising, when he first came out J.R. and really repetitive and boring unfulfilled expectations J.R., his flow has never actually changed, but I feel like if you gave me 20 J.R. a capellas I could tell which ones were old and which were new 90% of the time. Anyway, hope you like North Carolina. I did not.

Thanks for the well-wishes. So far, it's going pretty well, considering I moved in the middle of the semester and this being a college town, it's a bit difficult to meet people even though I work at the University. Whether I settle here for more than a year is dependent on how the grad school process treats me. But for now, it suits me just fine.

I thought the whole appeal of J.R. was that he was the "Writer of writers?"

Where are you in NC? THE TRIANGLE?

Does Chapel Hill count as the Triangle? I'm still figuring this stuff out. But if so, yes, I'm around.

I'm in Raleigh. Have you hit up CD Alley yet? or Nice Price?

Ha, I'm in CD Alley fairly often. I just bought Here, My Dear there over the weekend. I also stop in Nice Price now and then, too.

I also spent the weekend looking for a sneaker store around here to no avail. luckily, there's clae.com
